Butt lift techniques
These are some of the common techniques:
Upper Buttock Lift
this technique is the choice for patients who have lost a significant amount of weight and have a significant amount of excess skin. The patient’s excess tissue and skin are used to anchor the buttocks to deeper tissues and bone, stopping the soft tissues from sagging and lowering the risk of unsightly scar displacement.
Miami thong lift
This technique targets excess fat deposits in the interior gluteal fold, which is the zone between the gluteal areas
To correct the shape of this area, the surgeon makes an incision in the sacrum, along with liposuction of the inner gluteal area. The length of the incision will depend on the amount fullness of the inner gluteal fold.
Butterfly Lift
This technique is used when the sagginess is along the outer or lateral portion. And usually, if the Miami thong lift did not work.
in this technique, the incision is made along the bikini line at the upper portion of the buttock, making the scar more visible and can also extend toward the front of the body, depending on how lax the skin is. Yet the scars can be hidden under the bikini
Lateral Buttock Lift
this one is especially helpful for people who suffer from buttock deformity that affects both the hips and the sides. The patient’s posterior sagginess should be moderate.

Steps inside the surgery
First of all, you will go under general anesthesia
it usually takes about two to three hours. depending on the chosen technique for your case (like the position and nature of the excessive skin) the surgeon will make the incision
Usually, skin in the upper buttock region is removed and then pulled to close the incision. This lifts the buttock region and tightens any loose, sagging skin.
In some cases, the surgeon makes a lower incision in the fold between your buttock and the back of the thigh.
Sometimes liposuction might be required.
